We have impacted more than 14,000 children and adolescents.
More than 4,600 adults have participated in the project.
The percentage of children and adolescents who are aware of the concept of sexuality as a central aspect of identity has doubled.
The percentage of children and adolescents who have a more favorable attitude towards gender equitable gender roles tripled.
Knowledge of contraceptive methods increased 6 times compared to the beginning of the project.
Contraceptive use is now 5 times higher than at the beginning of the project.
Condom use increased during the first sexual intercourse.
As a result of the work with the adults in the settings, In households, communication and positive parenting practices improved.
In six of the eight municipalities in the period 2019 to 2022, a reduction in the pregnancy rate of adolescents between 15 and 19 years of age and a decrease in pregnancies in girls between 10 and 14 years of age is reported.
In general, participants report greater access to sources of information about sexuality, gender-based violence and sexual and reproductive health services.
These achievements confirm the effectiveness of Comprehensive Sexuality Education and its impact on people’s health and well-being.
