How to sterilize your Profamilia® Menstrual Cup?
It’s important to sterilize your cup before using it for the first time and again after it’s been stored for a few days. Here are two ways to do it:
1.Boiling water:
Use a dedicated container for sterilizing your cup, making sure it’s fully submerged in boiling water for 3 minutes. Then let it cool — it’ll be ready to use.
2. Disinfectant
You can also use a neutral soap that won’t affect your pH. Soak the cup for 15 minutes, following the product’s instructions. Rinse it with boiled water to remove any residue.

How to remove the Profamilia® Menstrual Cup?
The Profamilia® Menstrual Cup has a small stem at the base that helps you locate it easily. Do not try to remove the cup by pulling on this stem unless the cup is positioned very deep inside your vaginal canal.

During your period:
You can clean your Profamilia® Menstrual Cup with water and a mild, neutral soap. Make sure to rinse off all soap residue thoroughly with plenty of water before reusing it.
Between menstrual cycles:
You can do a deeper cleaning of your Profamilia® Menstrual Cup using a soft-bristle brush and neutral soap. Remember to remove all soap residue and dry your Profamilia® Menstrual Cup completely before storing it.
Where and how to store it?
We recommend keeping your Profamilia® Menstrual Cup in the cloth bag included inside the product box. You can also use any non-airtight container to prevent moisture buildup.
